Sunny Day!

Sunday, October 4, 2015 - Campbellsville, KY

This morning Jess and I took the dogs for a quick walk, then came back and got ourselves ready for church.  After Mass we came back to the trailer and had breakfast.  It was a beautiful day today, so we thought it would be a good day to spend over at the park.  Mike got a couple of airplanes and we headed over to the flying field.

Ami decided it was time to hid from the sun.  :)
Then she went back out to check out what Papa was doing.
Avander thought it was time to check out what the dogs were checking out.
Alex was watching Papa fly yet another plane.
When suddenly the prop came off the plane.  Jess and I did go out in the field to see if we could find it, but no such luck.  Soon a truck pulled in and asked if this prop was ours...  He heard the noise, then all of sudden the prop hit the antenna on his truck.  What were the odds?  He is going to have quite the story to tell when he gets home.  Fortunately it did not do any damage, so he went on his way.  :)  You can see the nick in the prop from the antenna.

After flying we went over to the corn maze.  We played in the corn maze for a while.
Then off to the playground down by the lake.

Ami had picked up an ear of corn while we were at the corn maze and she was not about to let it go.

Gracie even got to play down in the water.

It was another wonderful day!

Mammoth Cave

Saturday, October 3, 2015 - Campbellsville, KY

We watched the weather this morning and it looks like the hurricane will not be hitting the east coast, but South Carolina is getting pounded with rain now.  It is also going to rain here all day.  We decided we would take a cave tour over at Mammoth Cave National Park.  We took the Domes & Dripstones Tour at noon.  When we logged on to the website and ordered the tickets there were still several openings on the tour.  By the time we got to Mammoth Cave the tour was completely booked.  Sure am glad we got our tickets on-line.  :)

The boys seemed to really have a good time.  Here we are just before we got on the bus to head for the cave entrance.
Now for the bus ride.  :)

Here is the bus we rode on.
Here we are at the entrance to the cave.
Fun in the cave.

We all had a nice time in the cave.
After the cave tour we went on a hike to Sand Cave.  This is the cave where Floyd Collins died.
We had a lot of fun on the trail.

It was another wonderful day!

Jess and Kids Arrive

Friday, October 2, 2015 - Campbellsville, KY

The Suburban is finally fixed.  Of course it is raining, so we suited up, hopped on the motorcycle and headed for the service center.  We had to have a new fuel tank put in it.  Well at least it is fixed and now it has a PVC tank.  No more rust.

With the hurricane potentially headed for the east coast Jess decided she would head over here.  Hopefully the weather will improve and we can get outside while they are here.  :)

Jess arrived safe and sound around 9:00pm.  As we talked about the sleeping arrangement Avander says "Mommy you can't sleep there that is Uncle Tone-Tone's bed!".  We let him know Uncle Tony would not mind.

Jess headed for bed and Avander headed up there to sing to her.  It was so adorable to listen to him singing to his mom.  :)

It was another wonderful day!
