Travel to Elberfeld

Sunday, October 27, 2019 - Elberfeld, IN

We were up early this morning and on the road to Miles Landing Campground in Elberfeld, IN.  It is right next to the Blue Grass Fish and Wildlife Area.  Far enough off the interstate that you can't really hear it!  The owners are really nice and they just purchased it a year or so ago and are working on fixing it up.  It sat vacant for a few years, but it is still a very nice, peaceful place.

For dinner we ran into Evansville and went to Bandana's Bar-B-Q.  It was very good food and service.  We got a sampler platter to share and there was a lot of food to share.  :)

The sunset this evening was beautiful, so I just had to take a picture.

It was another wonderful day!

Nashville and a Movie

Thursday, October 24, 2019 - Indianapolis, IN

This morning Mike headed to northern Indiana to go out to dinner with Jerry Sharp, Mike Schreiber, Rob Sweeney and some other SMP people.  Patsy, Sue and I headed to Nashville, IN.  Our first stop was Artists Colony Inn and Restaurant.  We had a very nice lunch.

After lunch we went to the tasting rooms in Nashville.  Then on to the Salt Creek Winery, Brown County Winery, Cedar Creek Wine Tasting and finally Country Heritage Winery.  We found some wine we liked at each place we went.  We didn't want to carry all of the wine with us as we walked from winery to the next, so each winery allowed us to keep them their to be picked up later.  At Country Heritage Winery we ordered a couple of snacks.

While we were enjoying our snack we realized we needed to get heading north if we wanted to make it back in time to go see Maleficent 2.  So Sue and I gathered the wine we purchased at Country Heritage, while Patsy went to get the car.  Once Patsy arrive we got in the car and hurried onto each of the other wineries to pick up the rest of our wine.  :)  Then we headed back to Indianapolis.

We met Mom, Dad, John and Kim at the movie theater.  It was a dinner theater, so after we found our seats, we ordered our food.  We then enjoyed our food and the movie.  It was a really good movie.

Mike arrived shortly after I got home.  He had a really nice day also.

It was another wonderful day!

Cousin Dinner

Wednesday, October 23, 2019 - Indianapolis, IN

Cousin's dinner this evening was at Alibi's Gill.  We had a great turnout!  We don't get back here very often so it was wonderful seeing everyone.

Alibi's had trivia night and we played.  We did not do very good, but we did have fun!

Monday, October 21, 2019 - Indianapolis, IN

After a wonderful weekend with Jess, Mike and the kids it was time for us to head back home.  Mike and I decided we would leave first thing in the morning to get out of town before morning rush hour.  We were very successful!  Ten hours later, we arrived back home safe and sound.

It was another wonderful day!

Movie

Sunday, October 20, 2019 - Norfolk, VA

The weather today was not good for doing anything outside, so we decided to go to a movie with the grandkids.  We went to see "The Addams Family".  It was a very good movie and I really enjoyed it.  After the movie we stopped by the display to get a quick picture.  :)

It was another wonderful day!

Happy Birthday Mike & Ami

Saturday, October 19, 2019 - Norfolk, VA

Jess had to work today.  The rest of us headed out to the park to play!

Me and the kids were playing on the slide and soon Papa came over to play and I took pictures while laughing.  :)

People kept looking over as I was laughing and looking in the slide.  :)

We all had a lot of fun.  Once we got home and before dinner we took Avander shopping for his birthday present.  He picked a big box of crayons, markers and pencils; and a pad of paper.  He sure was happy with his purchase.

When we got home we turned around and went back to the store, only this time with Ami.  She picked a new doll and some furniture for the doll.

When we got home we had dinner, then we sang "Happy Birthday" to both Mike and Ami.  :)

Now it was time for Ami to open up presents from her Mom and Dad.

Travel to Norfolk
