Dinner at Patsy's

Saturday, January 2, 2016 - Indianapolis, IN

This morning while getting ready to head for Indianapolis Jess and Mike put a quick load in the laundry and the drain pipe came out and water got all over the floor.  We all felt really bad and we cleaned up the water the best we could.  Jess also gave the kids a bath, but the tub did not fill up all the way.  Tony wanted to make sure it was all the water from the washer dried up and make sure the water from the tub did not go down into the crawl space, so he decided to not go to Indianapolis tonight.

Eventually we all headed south.  Jess and Mike left about 15 minutes before Mike and I, but on the way down we saw a gentleman walking away from a disabled car.  We decided to stop and pick him up.  Come to find out he thought he was out of gas, so we took him to the near gas station, which was about 3.5 miles away.  Then we took him back to his car.  That was all he needed and he was back on his way.  :)

We all went over to Patsy and Rick's for dinner.  As always Patsy fixed a really dinner and we had a really nice time.  :)

It was another wonderful day!

Friday, January 1, 2016 - Valparaiso, IN

Happy New Year Everyone!  :)

This morning the kids were playing with Melvin.  It is a Christmas present Grandma and Papa gave them.

Ami was already in bed when we finally got around to opening presents, so we had her open her present this morning.

She decided she wanted to ride in it and hold her doll.  :)

Then it was time for the boys to rough house with their Dad.

This evening we headed for House of Kobe for dinner.

Alex thought the fire was to bright, so he put on his sun glasses.  :)

Then Ami started playing peak a boo with her napkin.  And the boys were playing with Uncle Tony.  :)

Dinner was really nice and everyone seemed to enjoy it.

After dinner we headed back to Tony's.  We found Mike and Avander reading.  :)

While Tony and Miranda were pushing Ami back and forth in her doll stroller.  :)

It was another wonderful day!

New Years Eve

Thursday, December 31, 2015 - Valparaiso, IN

Tuesday Tony had to head for Kentucky for work.  He was going to meet his co-workers in Merrillville, IN and leave his car there.  But Mike decided to take him, so he would not have to leave his vehicle there.  I stayed back on Tony's and worked.  :) 

Wednesday morning Mike and I meet Diane at Louie's for breakfast.  It was wonderful seeing her.  We had really nice breakfast.  Then, Mike took the Suburban in to get work we wanted done and he made it to his Dr.'s appointment. I worked at the office again today!

This morning Mike and I headed for the grocery store to pick up food for our fondue.  While we were there Tony called to let us know he would be ready to be picked up around 10:30am.  Jess, Mike and kids arrived around noon.  :)

The kids had fun playing in Tony's cabinets.

Then they sat down and played with Dad and Uncle Tony.

Soon Holly arrived to have dinner with us and we started getting the food ready.

Unfortunately Holly had to leave before Miranda got home, so Holly and boys went ahead and ate dinner.

After dinner we opened the gifts Holly had brought for the kids.

 They really like the hats and scarves Holly made for them.  :)

Once Miranda arrived home we opened the rest of the gifts before eating dinner.

After opening gifts the rest of ate dinner.

After dinner Uncle Tony climbed into the cabinets with the boys.  :)

Shortly after mid-night we all headed for bed.  :)
