Jess arrived in Cadillac early this morning, around 4am. She only got a short nap before we were packing up and heading up to Gaylord, MI to pick up Alex from summer camp. Once we arrived in Gaylord Mike drove on into town and parked the truck and trailer. I dropped Jess and Ami off at Camp Sancta Maria, then headed out to pick up Mike and Avander. We did not think it was a good idea to bring the truck and trailer into the campground. :)
After we put his stuff in the car he took us on a tour of the campground. It was wonderful listening to him tell us about his last 2 weeks here.
Soon we were back on the road and headed north to Cheboygan. It was only about an hour drive and Alex got to ride in the truck for this leg of the trip. :)
A couple of hours after we got set up Tony and Miranda arrived with the boat. Then they asked if we got the boat key out of the Suburban...Oh no! Well tomorrow we are going to Mackinac Island, so we won't need it tomorrow.
I did remember to take a picture of our campsite with all of us sitting around the fire.
