Repair Pictures

Tuesday, July 28, 2015 - South Bend, IN

While we are here Mike will be working here at the campground in exchange for our campsite.  :)  Today Mike went to work on finishing up the ramp on the new cabin.

I worked at the trailer this morning and this afternoon I actually had to go to the office.  I will need to go in several times while we are here.  While I was at the hospital I finally got the blood work I needed done.

I should have taken a picture of the garage the other day, but here it is.  When we talk to KZ about it, they said they could repair the hole, but would not be able to match the color.  So they suggested raising the height of the diamond plate.  That sounded like a good idea, so that is what we had done.  They raised it  in the entire garage and it really looks nice.
Here is the before picture.
With the diamond plate being higher, if this happens again it should not put a hole in the wall.

It was another wonderful day!

Travel to South Bend KOA

Monday, July 27, 2015 - South Bend, IN

We were up early this morning to go over to the service center to talk to them about what else still needed to be done.   We found out they had not finished and still needed to re-caulk all of the spot where the caulking needs to be re-done.

They let us know it would take them several hours to complete the work, so we decided we would go out to breakfast at Das Dutchman Essenhaus.  As always it was a great meal.  :)

After breakfast we went to the kennel and picked up Gracie.  She was thrilled to see us!

The trailer was finally ready and we headed for the South Bend KOA.  We will be here for several weeks.

It was another wonderful day!

Travel to Shipshewana, IN

Sunday, July 26, 2015 - Shipshewana, IN

This morning we took our time getting ready to head out.  We ate breakfast at the hotel.  Then we made the trip back to Shipshewana, IN.

We are staying in the trailer at KZ Corporate Headquarters. This site does not have the "it" factor, but we will only be here for 1 night.

The garage really looks nice, but it does not look like they completed the caulking.

It was another wonderful day!

Airventure - Day 2

Saturday, July 25, 2015 - Oshkosh, WI

Tony and Miranda arrived late last night and we met them at the La Quinta in Oshkosh.  Then we all headed over to Airventure.  We first walked around and just looked at all of the planes available.  Sure do like to dream.  :)

Then we came across the Icon A5.  This is one we could take on the road with us.  :)

Tony and Miranda let me take a picture of them in the cockpit of a jet.  :)

The air show started at 2:00pm and it was awesome.  They did a re-creation of the attack on Pearl Harbor.

Then the rest of the show continued.  It was a great show.

We were tired and hungry, so we decided it was time to head out.  We went to Olive Garden for dinner.  It was very good.

It was another wonderful day!

Airventure - Day 1

Friday, July 24, 2015 - Oshkosh, WI

Mike was up very early this morning, 5:00am, and headed for Airventure to be there for the opening at 7:00am.  He wanted to get in as much of the show as possible.  I worked all day.  :)  Mike did take a lot of pictures!

When he got back we asked at the desk where would be a good place to eat and the desk clerk informed us to try any one of the many restaurants in downtown Neenah.  We walked around downtown to see what was there, then we decided on Green’s Pour House.  We both had there pulled pork on pretzel roll.  It was very good.  We also got a beer sampler, which came with 10 samples and they were a lot bigger than normal.  :)  Out of the 10 I liked 5 of them and Mike agreed.  The other 5 did not get finished.

It was another wonderful day!
