Today was the first day over 100 for 2018 and according to the car it made it to 106!

Saturday, May 12, 2018 - Amado, AZ


Today we needed to repair the hinges on the back windows of the truck.  I think sitting in the sun for 2 years was very hard on them.  We did try to make it harder than it is to change out on the first side.  The other side went much, much faster.  :)

In the afternoon we had to drive up to Greg's to pick up the keys.  We saw this for sale in a yard near his house.

It is a lion trap.  I must admit this is the first time I have seen one of these for sale, well maybe the first time I have seen one period.  :)


It was another wonderful day!

While we were at the dog park with Gracie she was sure there was something to get under that rock!

Friday, May 18, 2018 - Amado, AZ


This morning Patsy and Sue arrived for a sister's weekend!  As soon as they arrived we went to IHOP for some breakfast.  Nothing fancy, but we were hungry and I wanted to make several stops on the way down to the trailer. 


Our first stop was the San Xavier Mission. 

It was a nice visit. While we were here we stopped by the small café to have a snack and a drink.


Next we drove a little further south and stopped by the Titan Missile Museum. 

Then after a quick stop by the trailer to drop off their luggage and take Gracie for a walk, we headed for Wisdom's Dos in Tubac for a couple of Margarita's and some dinner.

It was another wonderful day!


Saturday, May 19, 2018 - Amado, AZ


We were up early this morning to head to the Wilcox Wine Festival.  There were 15 wineries here.  As usual Mike was our DD.  :)

Sunday, May 20, 2018 - Amado, AZ


Happy birthday to me.  :)


This morning we went to Nickel's Diner for breakfast.

After lunch we went to Ruby, AZ, but this time we did not make any detours down any dirt roads.  :)

It was neat, but I am not sure I would spend the money to go back. 


We went back to Tubac to do a little shopping, unfortunately we did not have a lot of time before the stores closed.


It was another wonderful day!

After a wonderful sister's weekend it was time for Patsy and Sue to head back home.  I sure am looking forward to the next trip!  :)
