New Years Eve

Tuesday, December 31, 2019 - Norfolk, VA

Mike and Avander were busy today building the water-powered rocket Avander got for Christmas.

Once they were done building it, they went outside to try it out.  :)  This was the best run.

Ami enjoyed watching.

They tried it again.

After playing with the rocket car we went for a hike.

Where the dogs really enjoyed themselves.

This evening we had fondue, which everyone seem to enjoy.  Unfortunately I did not take any pictures.

We just barely made it to midnight, but we said "Happy New Year!" to one another  and went to bed.  :)

It was another wonderful day!

Christmas in Norfolk

Monday, December 30, 2019 - Norfolk, VA

The grandkids were up early and called us at the hotel to see what time we were coming over.  They were very happy to see us.  :)

The kids did not want to wait until tonight, so we opened our gifts shortly after we arrived.  :)

Alex got me a beautiful ring for Christmas.

We continued to open gifts.

Everyone enjoyed what they got and we spent a lot of time playing with the new toys and eating the goodies Aunt Holly sent.

It was another wonderful day!

Travel to Norfolk

Sunday, December 29, 2019 - Norfolk, VA

Today we headed for Norfolk and 13 hours later, we arrived.  Michael J's family was still there, so once we arrived, we only stopped at their house long enough to drop Gracie off.  Then Mike and I headed for the hotel to stay the night.  We wanted to be able to spend all day Monday with Jess, Mike and the kids.  :)

It was another wonderful day!

Merry Christmas

Wednesday, December 25, 2019 - Valparaiso, IN

Mike and I spent the night with Patsy and Rick.  Once we were up and ready Christmas  morning, we headed over to Mom and Dad's to get things set up and ready for everyone to arrive.  Soon, all of the food and people started to arrive.  :)

First we ate breakfast.

Then it was time to open presents.  :)

After we got done with clean up and hugs "good-bye", we headed back to Tony and Miranda's.  As soon as we got there, we started cooking our Christmas dinner.  Holly, Diane and Lauren all came over for dinner.  After dinner we opened presents...again.  :)

It was another wonderful day!
