Monday, February 22, 2016 - Citra, FL
This morning about 9:30am we headed for the Animal Clinic to pick up Gracie. I always feel bad leaving her at a boarder. She was very very happy to see us and I was just as happy to see her. :) As always she did not eat well.
This evening we played euchre. Neither one of did any good. But we had a nice time.
It was another wonderful day!

Travel Back to Citra
Sunday, February 21, 2016 - Citra, FL
After Mass this morning Patsy fixed a wonderful breakfast. It was an egg and sausage casserole. Yum!
Shortly after breakfast Mike and I packed up and said our "good-bye"'s and headed out. We had a wonderful week!
We needed to stop by PetSmart to pick up dog food for Gracie, so while we were in Ocala we stopped by El Toreo for dinner. We were not impressed. The food was very bland and this is a Mexican restaurant. I really did not like the rice. I am not a big fan of Spanish rice to begin with and this was really bad.
It was another wonderful week.

Burnt Store Marina
Saturday, February 20, 2016 - Fort Myers, FL
It was nice sleeping in a little this morning. :) Once we were up we went swimming. The pool is a salt water pool, but I think one of the pool guy put chlorine in it. Earlier this week Dad's green swimming suit became tan. Today Sue and I's suits faded. But the worst was Mike had been swimming with his eyes open and once he was done his eyes were really burning. I was really worried and I wasn't sure we shouldn't take him to the ER. He was miserable. :(
We went ahead and got cleaned up and ready to go out to eat. We headed for Burnt Store Marina. We arrived at the restaurant during happy hour, so we had to wait a little bit for a table. By the time we got our table Mike's eyes were getting better. :)
We had a very nice meal and the weather was beautiful!
When we got back to Mom and Dad's we played some more Samba hoping to bet the guys tonight, but no such luck! :)

Nervous Nellie's

Today the weather was a little cooler, so we did not go swimming. In fact we did not even go for a bike ride today.
For our late lunch today we drove down to Fort Myers Beach to meet up with Jeff and Mary and PJ and Ray to eat at Nervous Nellie's. Mike did a good job taking pictures. :)
After lunch we walked down to the beach. On our way to the beach we did a little shopping.
Of course we had to have ice cream. We also watched the street performers that are down by the beach. Eventually we headed back to. When we got back to Mom and Dad's place we played Samba. The guys won tonight.
It was another wonderful day!

Rumrunner
Thursday, February 18, 2016 - Fort Myers, FL
Today I was up very early this morning. For some reason I got up at 5:30am. I went ahead and started working, so I could get my hours in early. :)
Once I had my hours in for the day me, Sue and Patsy went for a nice bicycle ride. When we got back we changed to our swimming suits and went swimming.
Before our bike ride I took a picture of the house.

Later we sat around the pool waiting for time to pick Dad up at the airport. He was due to arrive around 4:30pm.
Dad called to let us know that his plane was delayed and he would not be in until after 9:00pm. Our original plan was to wait and have dinner with him, but with the flight delays we decided to just go ahead and go out for dinner before he arrived. We decided to go to Rumrunner. They have the best drink, called the Rumrunner. :) We all had a great meal. There a several shops in the same complex as the restaurant, so after eating we did a little shopping. :)
Dad's flight finally left Indianapolis and he arrived around 9:45pm. A lot later than he originally planned. It was great to have him back.
It was another wonderful day!

Sue, John & Kim Arrive
Wednesday, February 17, 2016 - Fort Myers, FL
Mike and Patsy were up early this morning, so they could get to the airport to pick up Sue, John and Kim. There flight arrived about 30 minutes early, so Mike and Patsy were not quite there yet to pick them up. When they finally arrived at mom and dad's place we all changed to our swimming suits and hopped in the pool. The water was nice and we really enjoyed ourselves.
Once everyone was ready to go we headed out to eat. We wanted to go someplace that we went last year, but no one could remember the name. We were thinking it was The Crab Shack. After several U-turns we found the place and it is called Pinchers Crab Shack. We were close. The food was great and the company was even better.
We were standing in front of the seafood counter. Pick out your fresh seafood here. :) We did sit outside, but I didn't get any pictures. The meal was great!
We played Qwirkle when we got back. We called it a night early, Sue and John had been up since 2:00am, so they were very tired. :)

Ford's Garage
Tuesday, February 16, 2016 - Fort Myers, FL
After working a couple of hours this morning, Patsy and I went swimming in the pool. I had a conference call for work I needed to attend, so I had to watch my time in the pool. My conference call was only scheduled to last 45 minutes, but 1.5 hours later it was over.
My Dad was headed for Indianapolis today to go to Uncle Paul's funeral. Since Dad's plane was scheduled to leave at 7:30pm, we decided we would wait until about 4:00pm to go out to dinner, then take Dad to the airport. We went to Ford's Garage for dinner.
We had a really nice dinner. :)
After dinner we took Dad to the airport. On our way, Jeff called to let us know the flight had been delayed until 9:00pm and that him and Mary were already at the airport. We went ahead and dropped Dad off. Once we got home Dad called to let us know that the flight was now delayed until 10:50pm. They finally did make to Indianapolis around 3:00am. What a long night for them.
