The plan was to be on the road by 9:00am, but I knew if
anyone stopped by to talk it would not happen.
We made several friends here, so we had several people stop by to say
good-bye. Jess Lea RV Park has been a
very nice place to stay! If we are ever
back in the area we will definitely be staying here again.
We were able to get on the road by 10:00am, not bad. :) It was about a 4 hour drive to Russell
Springs from Big Stone Gap. It was not a
bad drive at all. We stopped in London,
KY at White Castle to get a quick lunch.
We arrived at the KOA in Russell Springs at about 3:00pm ET. We have been here several times, so we were
able to get set up quickly and before the rain arrived.
We did move over one site. The site we were in last year was very muddy
this year and with the grandkids joining us in a couple of days that was going to be a
real mess.
It was another wonderful day!
