A Maze and A Ride on Going to the Sun Road

Wednesday, July 20, 2016 - Columbia Falls, MT


Today we thought we were either go on the zip lines or to the Amazing Fun Center.  Well since we had 3 small children with us we headed for the Amazing Fun Center to have fun.  :)  They have boats, go-carts, a maze and many other things for fun.  We first went through the maze.  Each person was given a card with the word MAZE on it.  There were 4 towers in the maze where a stamp with each letter of the word MAZE was located.  The idea was to get your card stamped and find the exit to the maze as quickly as possible.  We split up in groups and headed out.  Tony, Miranda and Alex made it to the M tower pretty quickly.

Soon we caught Miranda, Tony and Alex in the maze.

Alex was waiting for his mom to catch up so he took a quick break.  :)

 Soon Jess caught up with Miranda and Alex.  :)

In the meantime Mike J, Tony and Ami made it to the E tower.

We caught up with Mike J and Ami at one of the towers.

Soon we looked over at the observation bridge and there was Tony, Miranda and Alex.  Tony has always been very good at doing mazes, so this did not surprise me.  :)

Jess and Avander also made out before us.  Mike and I meet up with Mike J and Ami and we all still needed the Z, but we were not having any luck finding our way to the Z tower.  So we decided we would wonder the maze together.  :)

It was a lot harder than I thought it would be.  According to the information we read they move the walls around on a weekly basis to make the maze different all the time.  We eventually found the tower and the exit, but it was easily 30 minutes after Tony and Miranda.  :)  We had a really nice time.

Next we headed over to the boats, but not before I took a couple of quick pictures.  :)

Tony and Avander got 1 boat, while Mike J and Alex got in another. All of them got wet!

Next were the go carts.  Mike and Ami were the picture takers while the rest of us went for a ride.  Get ready!

It was a lot of fun!

Looks like Miranda got around Tony.  :)

Next we headed back to Glacier National Park to drive the Going to the Sun road.  The views were amazing!

Along the way we did go on a short hike.  While on the hike I took several pictures of the beautiful flowers we saw along the way.  My favorite is the first one.  :)

We also saw the damage from the 2015 wildfire.

It was a very nice hike with some additional awesome views.

Mike and I took a selfie.  It did not turn out to bad.  :)

We all had a nice time on the hike.

We arrived on the other side of the Going to the Sun Road around 5:00pm and now it was time to drive back.  We did make a couple of stops along the way.  We stopped to take a picture of the water falling down on the road.

 As well as a couple of places where the snow was right next to the road.

It was another wonderful day!
