Tuesday, January 1, 2019 - Mission, TX

Happy New Year!!

After sleeping in this morning Mike and I got packed up.  We all loaded into the car and headed for the airport.  On the way we did stopped by Applebee's for lunch.

We had an uneventful flight home.

It was another wonderful day!

Saturday, January 5, 2019 - Mission, TX

We decided to go for a motorcycle ride.  So we headed out to see La Santa Cruz.  Once we arrived we had a short hike up to the top of the hill.

Then we went on to Cocina Mobil 2 Mexicana.  I had seen it had 4.3 stars, but it did not look like much on the outside.

But the food was very good!  It was worth the stop.  :)

It was a nice ride.

Saturday, January 12, 2019 - Mission, TX

Every day we hear helicopters flying over head.  Some days they are closer than others.  Today they captured 6 or 7 illegals right on the other side of the fence from the RV park.

When the helicopters are close by it seems like everyone comes out to watch and take pictures.  I have often wondered how safe this is...

This evening we went to 492 BBQ for dinner.  It is just an old house converted into a restaurant.  The parking lot is the side yard.  Inside it looks like they just set up tables all through out the house, even upstairs.  :)

The food was very good.

Sunday, January 27, 2019 - Mission, TX

Today was the progressive pitch in dinner.  When you signed up for the dinner you were told what you needed to bring and to which circle you needed to bring it to.  We started out in circle 6 with appetizers.  We were assigned an appetizer.  :)

 Next we moved on to circle 5 for salads.

Then for the entree we moved to circle 4.  The park supplied Lasagna, which was very good.

Circle 3 was desert.

We had a good turn out and everything was very good.

It was another wonderful day!
