Saturday, March 2, 2019 - Mission, TX

Today Mike and I went to the Museum of South Texas History.

We never know what to expect from these little museums, but this one had a lot of good information about the history of Texas.  It started back in prehistoric times to current.  :)  We really enjoyed this museum

The helicopter was really low today.  They fly over head several times a day, but don't always fly low.

Today we went to the Mission Historical Museum.  It was free and we were really happy, since we were not very impressed with it.

Sunday, March 24, 2019 - Valparaiso, IN

I was up early this morning and flew to Chicago.  Tony, Miranda, Jess and the kids picked me up.  We then headed to the Planetarium.  The kids had a great time!  The first thing we stopped at was a station where they got to build and test fly a paper rocket.

Then we went to the rocket exhibit.  Ami tried out the sleeping quarters.  :)

Ami wanted to see to what height she could get her rocket to, so grandma helped her out.  :)

We still didn't do very good, but we had fun trying.  :)

We came across another station where they made a rocket and tried it out in the wind tunnel.  Avander is showing off his project. 

Then they all tried them out.

Then I took pictures of Alex in the lunar rover area.  :)

Overall I think everyone had a really nice time.  One last picture before we left.

We got back to Tony and Miranda's and picked up the rocket Uncle Tony and Alex built a while ago.  We headed to Kesling Park in La Porte to launch it off.  Tony had 3 engines, so each one of the kids was going to have a chance to press the button.  The first one Alex got to press the button.

The second one was Avander's turn.

But unfortunately it landed in the tree.

So Ami did not get a turn. :(  We then went and played on the playground.  It started raining, so we needed to head out.

Friday, March 29, 2019 - Valparaiso, IN

Ami had testing in her taekwondo this evening.

She did a really great job and has now advanced to the next level.

Saturday, March 30, 2019 - Valparaiso, IN

This morning was Alex and Avander's turn for their taekwondo testing.

They both moved up to the next level.  :)

When we got back home we built one of their Lego toys.  (no pictures)  Then after lunch we built a hotel out of their magnets.  Alex took lots of pictures.  :) 

And this wasn't all of them.  LOL

It was another wonderful day!
