Saturday, September 1, 2018 - Valparaiso, IN

The kids really wanted to do something, so we looked up to see what options we could find and we found Fire Flies.  It is a Fun Zone in Chesterton and I think the kids had a really good time.

I watched the grandkids today while Jess worked, so Miranda and I decided to take them to the Popcorn Festival in Valparaiso.  Right after we parked the car the kids found this tree stump and wanted us to take a pictures.  :)

It is mostly a craft fair, but there were a lot of different blow up toys for the kids to play.  Of course I had to buy tickets, but they had a good time.

After we ran out of tickets we went to get some popcorn.  Each person picked a different flavor. :)

It was another wonderful day!

Mike J was able to come into town this weekend and he won't be here for the Ami and Avander's birthdays, so today we went to Thistleberry Farm for the party.  Brody and Maddie were also able to come.

We had to wait for them to set up our picnic area, but the kids found some pumpkins.

While the kids waited for us to get lunch ready they played!

After lunch we sang "Happy birthday" and had cupcakes.

Jess had 2 different kinds of cupcakes, some for Ami and some for Avander.  :)
Now it was time to really play.  We started on the pedal cars.

Now it was time to try out the big slide.

And of course we cannot forget the bounce pad.

And last, but not least a little water power ball playing.  :)

Even Diane was able to join us.

And once the kids were done playing we went through all of the corn mazes.

It was another wonderful day!
