ATV Ride

Saturday August 5, 2017 - Amado, AZ

Today was a good day for a ride.  The high today is only going to be in the high 80's.  :)

We started out by going our usually way, but the Santa Cruz River was running strong due to the rain we had yesterday.
So we back track to Frontage Rd to Elephant Head Rd.  It took a little longer to get to the trail.  :)

On our way there we drove by this bird and I just had to take a picture.
The views were awesome.

As we rode along we came across this ruins from either a mine or something.
In the wash we came across what was left of a truck that got caught up in the fast moving water.
Not real sure how long it has been there.

On the way back Mike wanted to ride down the power lines to see if we could get to Tubac.  Well the trail got very gnarly, at least in my opinion.  :)

I even made Mike stop and let me out.  :)  LOL.  The Maverick did a great job of getting through it!  Eventually we decided it was time to turnaround...Ok it was me that decided it was time to turnaround.  :)

It was another wonderful day!
