When we were at Fort Davis National Historic Site last weekend, we talked to a lady that hiked up to the viewpoint above the fort. Mike and I knew we wanted to hike up there, but we did not have time last weekend. So we came back today to hike up to the viewpoint. :) It was a very nice hike.
Along the way there were information signs about the vegetation in the area, like this one.
I was glad they were there, it gave me a chance to catch my breath as we climb up to the top. :)
Eventually we made it and the view was beautiful.
There were a few other people at the viewpoint also and like always they took pictures of us and we took pictures of them. :) It was a little windy.
There were a lot of steps on the way down.
The views on the drive were beautiful!
It was another wonderful day!
