Prada Marfa

Sunday, January 12, 2020 - Alpine, TX

I really wanted to go back and see the Prada Marfa.  The last time we saw it was back in 2006 when we came down here for Jess's senior year spring break.  We remember when we drove by it, Abbie Feitz yelled out "Oh my gosh, it is a Prada store!".  We had to turn around so we could stop and see it.  :)

While we were driving there we saw an object, but could not figure out what it was until we got close.  It is the Tethered Aerostat Radar System.
We finally got to the Prada Marfa.  It is just as I remembered it.  It is an art project that was built in 2005.

On the way back we stopped by the Marfa Mystery Lights viewing center.

It was to early in the day to see any of the lights, but we will come back one evening to see if we can see the lights.

On the way back I couple more pictures of the deer that roam around town.

It was another wonderful day!
