Picture Day

Sunday, May 29, 2016 - Michigan City, IN

After Mike and I went to Mass at St Mary's we came home changed our clothes and headed for Washington Park in Michigan City.  While we were waiting for Tony, Miranda and "Big" Alex to arrive Jess and I looked around for good places to take pictures.  After they arrived we got right to business with getting our pictures taken.  :)

We had a good time and the pictures turned out great.  The shirts we decided on are the Marvel characters.  Jess, Mike and kids are wearing Captain America; Tony and Miranda have the Hulk; and Mike and I have Ironman!  :)  We decided these would also be good shirts to wear down the Family Olympics tomorrow.  :)  Miranda tried very hard to find Dead Pool shirts, but we could only find large and x-large, so she settled on Hulk.

After pictures it was time to eat.  We went to Matey's, which is just over the bridge from Washington Park.  We were not very impressed with the service or the food.  The service was very, very slow. And by the time the food got there it was cold and several of the orders were wrong.  Mine was good, but Mike did not like his.  I don't think this is place we will go back to. 

Tony, Miranda and "Big" Alex all headed out to a Memorial Day party.  Jess, Mike and kids came back to the campground with us so we could all go swimming.  Mike needed to pack, since he was flying out tomorrow to go to Nogales, so he did not go swimming with us.

For dinner we had sausage and hot dogs over the fire.  It was really good!  Before calling it a night Tony and Miranda stopped by to say "Good-bye" to Mike. 

It was another wonderful day!
