Travel to Milton, WI

Monday, July 4, 2016 – Milton, WI

This morning we were up early.  We wanted to be on the road before traffic got heavy after the Holiday weekend.  We had no problems getting around Chicago this morning.  We arrived at Hidden Valley RV Resort around 12:30pm.  Check in was not until 1:00pm, so they charged us a $5.00 early check-in fee.

When I made the reservation the girl that I spoke with made me a little concerned they would not have a site big enough for us.  She asked that I call before arriving to remind them we were on the way.  We had no problem fitting into the site they gave us.
It is actually a very big campground.  This is a picture of just one of the several roads within the campground.  It is very nice the only problem is the dust.
After taking Gracie for a nice long walk we decided to find a local restaurant to eat dinner.  We decided on The Anchor, which is right on the Rock River.
We were able to get a table outside, which was just wonderful.

The Rock River flows into Lake Koshkonong, which looks like a really nice boating lake.
Since tomorrow is another travel day, we called it a night early.

It was another wonderful day!
