Neighbors move

Thursday, September 4, 2014 - Williamsburg, VA

On Friday, August 29th, we had a motor home move in the site next to us.  When we talked to them we found out they were going to be here for a month.  They were very close and we were hoping they would move after the weekend was over.  Then Monday night when they dumped their tanks the hose was not connected correctly and sprayed out on the ground.  Well that was just a couple of feet from our picnic table and grill.  :(  We let them know that it leaked and they said they would clean it up in the morning....

Well here it is Thursday and it is still not cleaned up, so I went to the office to let them know about the problem.  My biggest worry was the hose would not be fixed before they dumped their tanks again... 

One of the KOA workers arrived just minutes after I got back.  I am not sure what was said between the worker and the gentleman next door, but shortly after the KOA worker left, the couple started packing things up and moved.  The rain started and they were getting very wet.  They are now at the back of the campground and the mess is still here!

Mike said if they don't clean it up tomorrow, he will be pouring some bleach on it.  Our biggest worry is the grandkids around the mess.

Tony did call this morning to let us know that he is on the way.  We are so looking forward to seeing him! 

It was another wonderful day!
